We are thrilled to announce that the Manufacturer of Experiences, Dr. Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the prestigious Design Week Awards. Since its inception in 1990, these awards have celebrated design excellence. This recognition is a testament to Dr. Ben Hayoun-Stépanian's remarkable contributions to the field. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the nearly 50 independent judges who lent their expertise to the rigorous evaluation process.
Dr. Nelly, a significant changemaker in the design world, started her journey with a BA in Textile Design, leading to a master's degree from the Royal College of Art and a PhD in Human Geography and Political Philosophy.
Renowned for her electrifying and transformative talks, she leaves audiences uplifted, deeply inspired, and ready to conquer the world.
As the director of Nelly Ben Hayoun Studios, she masterminds challenging projects, many include significant collaborations with major brands and organisations, including WeTransfer, NASA, Google, MoMA, and the United Nations.
Joining the ranks of our Hall of Fame, Nelly stands alongside design luminaries such as the acclaimed stage designer Es Devlin, Chief Design Officer at the Design Council, Cat Drew, design visionary Sir Jonathan Ive, Rama Gheerawo from the Royal College of Art, and renowned typographer Neville Brody.
